Super Snake is a small indie gaming platform, and we want to keep our privacy policy just as simple. Here's what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

To run the game and leaderboards, we collect:

• Your email address — used to create and manage your account
• Your username — shown on leaderboards and in the community
• Your game scores — so we can rank you on daily, weekly, and monthly challenges
• Basic device and browser info (like browser type and screen size) — this helps us fix bugs and make sure the game runs smoothly for everyone

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Manage your account and keep you logged in
• Rank you fairly on the leaderboard
• Send you important account emails — things like password resets, challenge results, or changes to this policy

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for anything beyond running Super Snake.

Third party services

We rely on a few trusted services to keep Super Snake running:

• Supabase — handles our database and user authentication (login/sign-up)
• Netlify — hosts the Super Snake website
• Stripe — will handle payments (coming soon, not active yet)

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices, and we only share the minimum information needed for them to do their job.

Data security

We take reasonable, industry-standard steps to keep your data safe, including encryption. Account login and authentication security is handled by Supabase, which follows strong security practices to protect your credentials.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — just reach out and we'll take care of it.

Children

Super Snake is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make any material changes to this policy, we'll let you know by email so you're never caught off guard.
